We will be holding SciPy APAC in the upcoming PyCon APAC 2014 (May 16–18, 2014). The “SciPy APAC” will be a dedicated track focusing on scientific computing in the general conference. We hope to gather practitioners of scientific Python in the Asia Pacific region to the conference, and start to build an annual event for ourselves.
SciPy APAC solicits talks for using Python for sciences and engineering. The speakers are expected to submit an extended abstract having 2 to 3 pages of A4 paper in length. The abstracts will be published and peer reviewed. English is the preferred language. The speakers are also encouraged to finish the abstract and submit the paper to PythonPapers.
